I love how people project their OWN biases onto what they see and read. I haven't ever seen you be negative toward any gymnast, team, country, whatever.... ppl come in with their own preconceptions (and misconceptions) about what others feel... and I really just think they have no idea what the word "subjective" means.
Right? I think one of the best things about the sport is that it is subjective, and that gymnasts with completely different styles and strengths and weakness, like Komova and Wieber or Nastia and Shawn can still be successful and competitive with each other. It’s possible to prefer one style over another or one country’s gymnastics over another without disparaging anyone, and that’s what I try to do. I think people are losing out on a lot of enjoyment if they limit themselves to only enjoying or supporting one kind of gymnastics.

This. I love the variety! Im from NZ so I hardly get to see any high class gymnastics, so I love all gymnasts. :D Besides I would be worried if you didnt support your own gymnasts :)
